As Southcoast continues to grow, we’re always looking for new cleaning technicians to work in the markets we serve. Below you’ll find the description and requirements for the available cleaning technician opportunity.
Schedule:
MONDAY – SUNDAY (Variable)
Approximately 25+ HRS/WEEK
Compensation is $16.50+/hr depending on the account and scope of work.
This is a contract opportunity and pay is bi-weekly via check. Form W9 required.
Own vehicle is preferred, but not absolutely necessary. Must have a valid driver’s license and a clean driving record.
Some clients and facilities require criminal background checks, even for the sub-contracted personnel we supply. This is not a guarantee, but applicants should be able to pass a criminal background check if asked.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following:
- Perform a wide variety of cleaning tasks such as dusting, sweeping, vacuuming, dust mopping, spot cleaning, trash collection and removal, glass cleaning and restroom cleaning.
- Request necessary supplies and maintenance needed on equipment.
- Responsible for maintaining equipment assigned in a neat and clean condition.
- Perform other similar and related duties as assigned.
Requirements include the following:
- Must be able to work standing up for long periods of time.
- Must have basic interpersonal skills; ability to work in the general public and communicate with co-workers and customers. This means speaking basic English.
- Must be able to push or pull a minimum of 30 pounds.
- Must be able to lift a minimum of 10 – 50 pounds.
